Description
OLD VINES OF ROBOLA
a white wine produced from family-owned low-yielding vineyard, covering 2 acres planted in 1960 and consisting entirely from the indigenous Robola variety that is grown exclusively on Kefalonia island.
VINEYARD
The harsh landscape is organized in terraces; the intense sunshine throughout the year; the limestone soil; the sea breeze that comes from the coast as well as the well drained ground with gravel to absorb the warmth during the day and reflect it at night, are all factors which determine the distinguished style of this exceptional wine.
VINIFICATION
After destemming and crashing the grapes, soft pressing and static sedimentation, fermentation in stainless steel vats, maturation of 6 months.
